Ann Bell started performing at age 5 and has mastered the piano since 10. From the age of 14, the Detroit native has been a professional musician and vocalist, playing in bands and as a solo artist covering all genres. The college piano instructor is a regular feature at Lansing's UrbanBeat.
Nick Pigeon has played across Michigan starting at the age of 13. Hailing from the Detroit Metro area, the accomplished guitarist and singer has made appearances on PBS Radio and co-wrote a song that won a Detroit Music Award. Nick has performed with the Blue Jazz Working Group, Spoonful, The Rotations, David Winn’s pi, and No Quarter.
Renee Rose began playing drums with bands at 14 in the Detroit suburbs. The career musician and vocalist worked with a variety of professional groups that include The Gems, Lazarus, Bonnie and the Working Girls, Lambert, Williams and Green, and The Classics. Renee has recorded at Manta Studios in Toronto, Canada.
David (Wink) Winkelstern began playing bass and singing while attending high school in London, England. Since moving to attend MSU, he has been in a variety of show bands that include Free Lunch, Wedsel’s Edsels, Steeplejack, Rockin’ Child, Headband, Big Bucks and the Loose Change Blues Band, and the Separate Checks duo. Wink was the principal rock critic for the Lansing State Journal and has had featured segments on most radio and TV stations in the Capital City.
