YOU are invited to the "My Secret Lansing" Gala & a Special Performance by the winners of the "My Secret Lansing" Writing Competition—on Sunday, Sept. 24, at 6 PM at UrbanBeat, 1213 Turner St. in Lansing's historic Old Town.

The event is free of charge and open to the public. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Parking if available on the street or in the large surface lot on the south side of the intersection of Turner St with Cesar Chavez Ave.

This event is also a book launch for "My Secret Lansing," the book celebrating secret treasures and special places/people/events or objects within the Greater Lansing Area. The book includes a rich variety of poetry and prose, much of which was written by residents of the Tri-County Area who entered the contest, in addition to photography by Roxanne Frith.

The "My Secret Lansing" Project was sponsored by the Lansing Poetry Club with support of the City of Lansing Arts Grant program funded by the City of Lansing, with administration by the Arts Council of Greater Lansing.
