Cross Eyed Strangers is an alternative-rock band from East Lansing, Michigan. Classically trained, as well as versed in jazz, folk and rock, they combine these styles with insightful lyrics to produce intricate, thought-provoking songs. The band has released one LP “Darker”
(2020) and two EPs “Nocturne” (2021) and “Let It Fall” (2019). On January 28, 2022, the band’s new LP, “Mr. Conman”, was released. All of their music can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify and all other streaming services.
The band consists of former East Lansing High School Students - Wes Millhouse on guitar, lead vocals and sound engineering, who is a music production student at the University of Michigan; Jeremiah Liggett on bass, who is a bass performance student at Tiffin University; Jun Ahn on guitar and vocals, who is an engineering student at Purdue University; Tomo Hanley on drums, who is also a Purdue University student and plays on the drum line, jazz band, and basketball band; and Nick Langford on keyboard, and backup vocals, who is also a music production student at the University of Michigan.
Cross Eyed Strangers formed in 2019 and released their debut EP in September, 2019. They have played festivals, including Pumpstock, the East Lansing Summer Concert Series, the East Lansing Art Festival, Lansing 501 Dam Jam, as well as the Blind Pig, Mac's Bar and other gigs both as headliners and support.
