Join us on May 8th for a special event at UrbanBeat Lansing covering the outcomes of NASA's latest DART mission!! Event is between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM ET.
NASA's DART mission is the first ever focused on planetary defense, and the first time that humanity attempted to measure the controlled deflection of an asteroid in space. After we've covered the impact of the spacecraft into the asteroid during last year's September AoT, at this month event, DART mission team member Dr. Harrison Agrusa will tell us about what the scientists have learned from the mission and what comes next in the quest of protecting planet Earth from future cosmic hazards.
