In today's uncertain times, the staff at UrbanBeat wants to create and maintain an atmosphere conducive to sustaining live music. However, our first priority is to practice safe social distancing, and we must limit our crowd size to below at our usual, 145-person capacity. As a result, we're offering a package that allows up to 40 tickets sold and includes both dinner and live music. Social distancing protocols include wearing a mask while moving around, tables more than six feet apart, and a clear partition in front of the stage performers. Following in his father's musical steps, Tbone is a true son of the jazz age. He has played with many of Detroit's great band leaders. Fans of Detroit Music Factory recording group Planet D Nonet know Tbone as the band's featured singer and trombone soloist, but he has also shared stages with such prominent jazz, blues and R&B luminaries as Earl King, Sir Mack Rice, Pinetop Perkins and Eddie Palmieri.
