Music without Borders concert benefit for Doctors without Borders

Michigan-based musicians Bobby Bringi (left), Elden Kelly (right) -- with a lot of help from our friends -- are organizing a community fundraising concert, MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS to benefit the humanitarian mission of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

The music concert will be on Sunday, December 2, 2018, from 4-6 PM at UrbanBeat, 1213 Turner Road in Old Town, Lansing, MI 48906. Doors will open at 3:30 PM, and there will be a cash bar/restaurant. Please plan to come early to socialize with friends and make new ones in a casual, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Feel free to stay after and enjoy more music, drinks and food! We hope to see you there!

Enjoy live global roots music, where melodies, grooves and sounds from different continents mingle with jazz and blues -- musical narratives that transcend borders. Elden and Bobby will be joined by special guests. Music Without Borders will enchant, heal and unite our community as we support MSF in a time of urgent need

All costs associated with the event have already been covered, so all donations will directly benefit MSFSuggested donation is $30 per person; the minimum suggested donation is $10 per person. The first 25 donors at $30 level will be provided preferred seating. When you make your donation, you will have an option to choose whether Bobby Bringi can see your name. If you use this option, it will make it easier for me to get your name to get on the preferred seating list. Donate here: https://bit.ly/2KeYPcJ

There is no other cover charge for the concert, and no tickets are necessary, please just come as you are. We hope to see you there! - Bobby Bringi

For a glimpse of the supremely gifted guitarist and musician Elden Kelly elaborating on a Silk Road theme, check out this original piece called Caravanserai: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao1yC4BSuqA

We are planning to showcase several new compositions, including a special piece composed just for this event. During intermission there will be an opportunity for the audience to learn about global health and MSF.

Please consider donating even if you cannot attend the concert!
